Impact is Now a ‘Certified Renovator’
Meeting new EPA guidelines, Impact is now certified with the EPA as a ‘Certified Renovator’. This nationwide regulation requires all firms to become certified, and more importantly, to implement best practices for managing remodeling and rehabilitation projects that may contain lead paint. The regulation impacts all homes built prior to 1978.

Impact has received a number of accolades lately – all of which we are very proud! We try to deliver on our mission statement everyday by living by our core values. It's nice to know others are taking notice!

Impact Participates in ACE's Green Living Expo
Impact was asked to participate in this year's Green Living Expo, an event hosted by ACE (Arlingtonians for a Clean Environment). 40 green businesses and organizations took part in this event, with about 1000 Arlingtonians in attendance.

Impact Project Featured on Capitol Hill's Renovator's House Tour
One of Impact's projects was featured on this year's Renovator's House Tour (click here to visit website). This prestigious tour has a tradition of showcasing some of the city's most interesting, most unique homes to the public, and this year was no exception.
Our featured project was a bathroom that incorporated a number of “green” materials and technologies, including a recycled concrete vanity sink, a recycled ‘Eco-Resin’ sliding door, river rock floor tile, and a dual flush toilet.

Impact Construction to provide services on major LEED Core and
Shell Gold Certifcation Project in Chengdu, China.
Impact Construction and Consulting has been chosen to participate in a mixed use development project in Chengdu, China, that will attempt to achieve LEED Core and Shell Gold certification. The project, led by Tischman Speyer, includes over 1 million square feet of residential, office, and retail space with a 2011 completion date. As part of its project commitments, Impact’s services will include design review, energy and cost analysis, project facilitation, and the
sourcing of sustainable materials and resources. More updates to come!
